2014 Formula One Discussion

Sure they are expensive... but do you want to be sitting in the grandstands with a bunch of children and city riff raff? protesters? etc?

I know it sounds strange but if you can't afford it watch it on TV. I go every year in Montreal and make sure to save up for a grandstand. Worth the money but no shame in missing out.
What??
Admission tickets is just part of the huge price of going to a GP...

F1 makes more money in other ways and actually loses (be it image, status etc) by having empty stands. Empty grandstands send a really poor message.

Who cares who you sit next to? you're there for the racing, so are they.

@pitlanetalk: Mattiacci is a temporary replacement. Flavio Briatore and Ross Brawn are still priority and Montezemolo is keen to have one of them.

So why not stick with Stefano till you get what you want?

Oh jeez. Flavio at Ferrari? If that's not a global incident waiting to happen then I don't know what is.

Domenicalli's departure is a couple of years too late. As was Massa's. And so is Alonso's.

Its been a long time coming. Something had to be done in that team...

The timing of it was out of Luca's control. He wasn't sacked, he resigned...

Oh, those Mercedes nerds are overdoing it, putting more fuel to the fire. But, they are not aware that karma is a b*tch and it's gonna hit them harder than ever.

Oh ok, thanks. But what's wrong with what the Mercedes QC said? He was merely citing precedent and was speaking on behalf of all teams that attended the hearing, not just Mercedes.
