Massa will meet Luca di Montezemolo on Wednesday to decide his future.

@tgruener: #F1 According to AMuS information Raikkonen to Ferrari is a done deal. Massa out. Hulkenberg probably to Lotus: http://t.co/RgyhIg1bn8

It's over. Welcome back

I don't know that it is a done deal to be honest, although AMuS is usually very reliable. I agree with Brundle though, I think the 'silver team' are sniffing around hoping maybe they have a chance of nabbing Raikkonen. They've apparently not taken up their options on Button and Perez, and when asked about it by Sky Whitmarsh didn't rule out signing Kimi. Would be surprised if they got him however. :p

Perez has been mediocre. Button has been... difficult t o assess, but i would keep him.

Kimi + Button
Alonso + Kimi would be prime. 2 yrs too late, but still worth watching; unless RB again have 1sec on everyone.

I guess the question is who would like to let Hulkenberg go...

Good luck finishing fourth next year, Ferrari.

Something that annoyed me after the race was Pinkham asking Massa if this drive was enough to keep his seat. Come on, what a dumb question. Does she really think that after so long in the team one or two races is going to sway their thinking? They know what they get with Felipe, a compliant number 2 who shows flashes of pace but has lacked consistency the past few years.

Then Will Buxton tweeted Massa was down maybe because he realises he's losing his seat. That's reading too much into it, he was down because he missed out on the podium when he had been comfortably keeping Webber behind. I just wish people would stop reading too much into relatively small events. Look at the bigger picture.

The way I see it, if Kimi is going anywhere, it has to be Ferrari. He was forced out at the end of 2009 because there was just no chance that Ferrari were going to pass up a shot at having Alonso, and ditching Massa while he was still injured would have been terrible. Ferrari may sense some unfinished business with Kimi.
As for McLaren, Kimi, I don't think, would even consider going back there. They were too controlling of him, too much PR business.

Hulk is going to Lotus according to AMuS. RTL/Bild are reporting that Kimi to Ferrari is a done deal. All we have to do now is wait for the official announcement :)

With an Alonso / Raikkonen line-up Ferrari must be waiting to sign Vettel in 2-4 years. Raikkonen will be 35 next year, and even though Alonso says he wants to extend his contract we know Ferrari would have no problem easing him out if they felt the time was right.

That makes good sense. Hulk is not wasted and Ferrari get the lineup they should have had for 2 yrs already.

We'll see how far away is RB again with the new regs. The couple of times Vettel hasnt had the car to win, he hasn't. So that's hopeful for everyone.

Maybe Vettel and Kimi in a few yrs at Ferrari...

It will be interesting to see how Alonso copes with a teammate that doesn't jump out of the way every time he's ahead... he hasn't actually raced a teammate in years! I still think Alonso will deal with Raikkonen fairly easily. Too early to make any predictions for next season with all the regulation changes, but in terms of drivers Ferrari have a slight advantage over Red Bull here.
