Pairing Alonso with Kimi is the first step in the right direction if Ferrari are to have any chance in reinstating themselves as serious title favourites.

Hulkenberg needs to make a big team move next year or I fear it will be too late for the young star to show his potential. A move to Lotus would be good for him.

Hülkenberg and Grosjean?

Could make for an interest pairing.

It seems Alonso will be out of Ferrari next year. He might move to Lotus.

Very interesting tweet from Mark Hughes!

I cant see why Raikkonen would be wanted by Ferrari. I mean, since Australia he has been rubbish this year. China and Monaco he was stupid with Perez and it almost made him retire both times, he was poor in malaysia even though he had the updates on the car and Rogro didn't, average in Canada and was terrible in Monza. He wasnt doing too good in Belgium neither.

he was disappointing last year too and shouldve won a good 3 races more (Bahrain, Spain and Hungary) but under-performed.

If the rumours are true about the Mercedes engine being so far ahead of the others, McLaren might not be a bad place to be in 2014!

mikhailv, maybe Ferrari thinks otherwise.

Come to think of it, its funny...
When Kimi left McLaren, Alonso went there.
When Kimi left Ferrari, Alonso joined the red team.
Now (not confirmed yet) Kimi leaving Lotus, rumours Alonso going to Lotus.

What can we do? Kimi is sh*t. He should retire, but Ferrari wants him badly enough to let Alonso go. Crazy world, eh?

This is just all hilariously messed up. Ferrari wants a faster driver to give Alonso a hurry up particularly in qualifying, but Kimi is not as fast as he once was and his qualifying has not been brilliant since his comeback. As good as he is, I don't think he's the solution to the problem Ferrari want to solve. Then we're told Alonso's so angry he's trying to leave Ferrari because of Kimi's impending arrival. Why do that? He does not need to go running scared from Kimi. He'll have him covered over the course of a season. It must be an ego thing and petulance in not getting his first choice of team-mate (Felipe) but with the major rule changes and new engines now is not the time to be changing teams for the sake of it. Who knows who is going to be the best in 2014? Imagine if Alonso left Ferrari and they nailed the new rules with the fastest car...

Its quite funny really. Alonso wont leave Ferrari, Kimi will stay at Lotus. I read somewhere that it was going to be Alo-Hulk but LDM decided he wanted Kimi back which really, is stupid having both; Alonso is there till 2016. If Vettel really is coming to Ferrari in 2016 then he would replace Alonso. I cant see Kimi being in F1 for another 3 seasons. So why not offer Hulk a year or two, have Bianchi do another year with marrusia before moving him to Sauber and then if they aren't pleased with Hulk, they can take Bianchi.

Alternatively, just have Alonso-Bianchi next year and give the kid a 2 year contract. If he is good enough, keep him alongisde whoever drives in 2016.

I think it´s a done deal at this point, if it is on AMuS they can just as well announce it already. I do wonder if there is any truth to the report that Alonso will go to Lotus with Santander.

If Renault buys a big stake at Lotus (as rumored) and Alonso is informed of that, would it really be a dumb move? They are currently doing pretty well with a medium sized budget, if you add the money Renault and Santander will bring in, who knows what they might achieve.

I've also read somewhere that Bernie said he doesn't want Kimi and Fernando in the same team. And that Alonso to Lotus is an option, since the team needs to be saved, and Santander could help them out. That's the perfect plan, actually.
My only problem is that I don't see where Hulk could go in this case...
