New features from what I can work out are a Dieter Rencken column and 'the secret driver'.

FIA releases entry list - di Resta is #14, Sutil #15. 'Maldonaldo' in the Williams :p

F1 calendar confirmed. It seems slightly silly to have 2 races in June, 2 in July, 1 in August and then heaps at the end of the year. It'd be better if the races were more spread out...

Should be two races a month with a 3rd race thrown in every second month!

Button doing his best this time. He will be the man for Mclaren to win.

Guys, will F1 Zone have a league for Fantasy F1 this season? If yes, what's the name and password?
Thanks! :)

You can join the prediction league: formel.php

The winner will get a prize like every year at the end of the season.

just read this;

“If I was a betting man, I would say right now, it is [Fernando] Alonso for the [Drivers'] championship just because of his true, real determination that we saw last year. We hadn't seen that before in him and I think we will see a bit more of it this year,” Anderson told Crash.net during the London press launch for the BBC's 2013 F1 coverage''

Really? Im sure this guy has dementia.

Maybe he meant that Alonso had found something in himself that made him perform the way he did last year. I'm not sure I would call that determination, but I think I have to agree with Anderson. I don't remember ever seeing Alonso being that good - even though I don't watch F1 that long...

Thanks man.

I kind of see what Anderson means, but to me since the middle of 2008 (except for a bit towards the end of 2009 when the Ferrari deal was done), Alonso's been pretty extraordinary. He did raise it even more in 2012 but he's always been pretty determined. Even in 2007 he was quite good, it was only his petulance that cost him that season - the start of 2008 was a bit un-Alonso like but apart from that he's been the most all rounded driver post-Schumacher.

Yeah, the start of 2008 he was too frustrated with such a big step backwards from the R25-R26-MP4/22-R28.

After Monaco when he made that all-b*** move up heidfeld when he did what he did in Belgium and change tyres when everyone stayed out and crashed into him, he changed his mindset. I still say 2009 is actually his 2nd best year behind 2012. His race in Singapore 2009 id say is the best race he has ever had.

Mclaren was the best thing he ever did, both joining, losing and leaving. Thats why I reckon Lewis is so similar to Alonso. He's had the luxury of the best car and team, then he has had the team turn on him, feel isolated and unwanted, kicked a little fuss up and left for a worse team in the hope of rebuilding.
