It's pretty cool that you can now walk on the track there and think the cars used to go round that corner at 150mph+

Kate Walker ‏@F1Kate 3m
Don't know if this has done the rounds on Twitter yet, but the talk in China is that Webbo has signed a 5-year sportscar deal with Porsche.

Then he is a smart guy. What's the point of lingering around when you're already in your mid-thirties, a multiple GP winner but with no legitimate shot at the title even though you're arguably driving the best car available? Short of a championship, there isn't much left for him to achieve in F1 and I can't see that happening this season or the next one.

This is my view. Particularly as he openly dislikes the Pirelli tyres plus the new regulations are arriving next season.

He's probably really attracted to the idea of being able to pick up your tire after it falls off

Not discounting it, but treating with caution. In Twitter terms it's been a while since that tweet, but no one more reliable has said a thing. Waiting...

@andrewbensonf1: Lots of people asking re the Webber-Porsche 2014 rumours. If I had heard it was true, I would have said. I haven't and don't believe it is.

Be fair to him, Benson was the one who in 1996 broke the Williams dumping Hill story and got abandoned by most of the F1 community...

I know, I was joking. I said on another forum, 'What to make of this? On the one hand he was the first to break the Hill leaving Williams story in 96, on the other he said Vettel had signed for Ferrari for 2014. :p'
