26th June. Got a confirmation e-mail of a place earlier, with such gems as 'Use this area to offer a short preview of your email's content.' and 'Now that you’ve selected a template to work with, drag in content blocks to define the structure of your message' left in. :p

Christian Horner's been awarded an OBE. Good for him, congrats and everything. But it seems a bit absurd he has the same honour as Ross Brawn and Adrian Newey. Ah well, not that it means much. I've often thought those two should get a knighthood.

And on that topic, never knew Bernie declined a CBE in 1996.

Bernie deserves a knighthood when you see some of the names who have one.

I always thought John Surtees should be given an MBE. What he did in motorsport is phenomenal and deserves more than an OBE. Putting Horner in the same category as Surtees, Newey and Brawn to me is criminal. No offence but what genuinely has Horner done? Newey designed the cars with a brilliant team through Dietrichs extremely large budget and Redbull subsidaries, Horner cant even control team orders :P

But at least its better than someone from Geordie Shore.

As part of the survey feedback, I'm going to try and sort out more frequent, shorter features alongside regular ones.

Here's the latest

An MBE is a lower honour than an OBE.

There's been a big campaign for a while now to get him a knighthood. Although petitions and the like don't help. You have to be nominated in writing.

Lotus is not happy with Pirelli's tire selection for Silverstone, Hungary etc... Pirelli are going harder. Guess it's time to 1 stop for erryone.

what Pirelli is doing doesn't make sense, they have made softer tyres for 2013 but now they're going too conservative with their tyre choices. hard and medium for silverstone and Budapest means one stop and less degradation (which favors RedBull and Merc). last two seasons they brought soft and supersoft to Budapest, What was wrong with that?!
A craven can be as brave as any man, when there is nothing to fear. And we all do our duty, when there is no cost to it. How easy it seems then, to walk the path of honor.

Its called, 'you wont let us change the tyre compound so we're just going to keep bringing the hardest everywhere'. They did it last year and it decided the championship. This is why I dont like pirelli.

Thats interesting Phil, Ferrari having $79million in sponsorship, Lotus with $78million. RBR/Mclaren/Merc having over $100million. Sauber is depressingly low and Force India too. Shows what a stunning job those two teams really do.
