My 2012 Montreal GP photos
My 2012 Montreal GP photos
Hmmm, not a lot of posts in this forum but I thought I'd share some of my photos from the 2012 Montreal GP I attended earlier this year. It was my first F1 race after being a long time follower, and we were camped out in the grandstands at turns 6&7. If I end up there next time then I will make sure I get higher in the stands to avoid the fence in some of the shots. Enjoy.

Hi and Welcome to the forum.
Very nice photos but you changed the colors a bit right?

Re: My 2012 Montreal GP photos
Thanks. Ya some have been post-processed, and at different times, so they're not consistent across the entire series. That said, these were shot with different lenses, on different days, with different sun/clouds, and some with a CP attached and some without, so some differences in color/lighting are natural and some are due to processing.

They look amazing, well done!
Re: My 2012 Montreal GP photos
Nice pics. Were you in one of the grand stands on the back, 31 or 33? I've sat in both of them.
Re: My 2012 Montreal GP photos
Thanks. Yup, last year was in grandstand 33. These year I sat in 22 coming out of the hairpin, and just posted a few pictures from Saturday here.

Great shots! What camera/lenses did you use?

Sorry for the delayed response. Haven't been on the forum much lately...
I shoot with a Canon 40D and most of them were probably with a Canon 70-300L, and maybe a few with a 70-200L 2.8 IS my buddy had with him as well.
