Re: Red Bull's quest for four in a row
I don't know if they can keep it going. We're seeing relatively stable regs from 2012 to 2013, so it stands to reason that the 2012 balance of power will continue. However, we saw that there were 6 teams out there which either did, or came extremely close, to winning races last year. I'd expect Ferrari to be stronger next year as well as Lotus. McLaren has been erratic and may or may not challenge for the title. As for Red Bull, they really hit onto something good toward the end of the year, and, given that I expect the RB9 to be an evolution of the late-season spec RB8, they just might keep that momentum going.
We'll see. The field will likely be tight once again.

The question is: who can stop them? All eyes turn toward Alonso, but 1/ a repeat of his near-perfect run is near impossible and 2/ there's not yet any indication that he won't have to drag the next Ferrari far beyond its actual pace again. McLaren? It remains to be seen whether Button can still put together a season-long championship challenge. I don't see Perez in this battle. As for Lotus and Raikkonen, they may well turn out to be the dark horse again, but will most likely fall short in the end. Lewis and Mercedes? That would be a humongous leap from the outfit's performance last season.
So in all honesty, I think the title is Vettel's and RBR's to lose.
