Yeah, seen quite a few examples of that...
So this means Marussia needs another driver. Would Kovalainen accept if he was offered the seat? Marussia was not that bad by the end of the season, so it's not a long way down from Caterham...

Glock had contract until 2014. Pretty sure he forgoes compensation because of the financial situation of the team. Obviously they will look for another pay-driver.

It may well be the opposite. Marussia seems to be the only team not to benefit from the new Concorde Agreement.

It seems that Bild thinks they've left on good terms, which suggests that it was in the pipeline for a while.

My guess is that Petrov failed to secure a seat at Caterham and therefore moves to Marussia. Some money and a Russian driver might be good for them.

Could be.

Maybe Razia somewhere? He's supposedly loaded.

Kovaleinen doesn't have money to pay for that. I agree with Edi96, I think Petrov got that seat. It's not the first time though, last year he got Trulli's seat at Caterham

Yeah the money quoted for Razia was silly money, Maldonadoesque. My guess would be Petrov or Razia. Buemi tweeted earlier he had some important news very soon, but I'd be surprised if it's him.

Maybe Daddy Chilton has bought the other seat as well and Tom's switching from WTCC to F1.

As a guess I'd say Buemi's news would be extending his Red Bull deal or staying on Toyota's WEC project.

It was accompanied with a picture of him in his Red Bull overalls, so I guess it would be he's staying there as third driver.

So many nice guys leaving F1 after 2012... Timo, Heikki, Kamui. A shame, because all three are very competent racers.

Also if Toto Wolff is moving to Mercedes, then what odds on Bottas following suit in a couple of seasons?

That's not a very important news really :p

So assuming this is true, the candidates appear to be Razia and Petrov.

Razia has money, Petrov has Russian connections. If it's Petrov, then to my mind that secures the Caterham seat for Senna.

It would also seem the move was in the pipeline for a fair amount of time. Razia has been suspiciously quiet...

Razia and Chilton would be a really s*** line-up. It's not that they're both terrible, they're both mediocre. 2 mediocre drivers as opposed to 1 good and 1 mediocre is s***.
