"dramatic news about testing" Pfffffffff :

I was already imagining that because of a new "clarification" of the testing regulations, the FIA had decided the testing was over for this year and the lovely Räikkönen would not be able to test any longer before Autralia (causing massive heart attacks on his fans and, therefore, dramatically increasing the health expenditure of most states of the world) :fear:

But nope, it was something I had already read hours before in Auto, Motor und Sport :

Details?
This?

And it seems according to AMuS they redesigned their chassis

What I understand from the text is that the chassis is not redesigned. They just used a new chassis because fixing the new parts in the chassis would make the mechanics work all night long. It's easier just to fix them at home and send it all as one piece to Barcelona.

What  It is just that they do not get back any of lost test days since testing after Sunday is forbidden in regulations, because of the first GP is too close. I'm glad I knew that earlier :E

Kovalainen: We got some good news

Published on 03.02.2012 19:57 (updated 19:58)

Caterham driver Heikki Kovalainen, who has recovered from food poisoning, was pleased with Friday's test day in Barcelona.

Kovalainen drove 104 laps, and clocked the fifth fastest time. The difference to the top was 1.2 seconds.

- I'm still not in full strength after the food poisoning, but I've pretty well got over it, Kovalainen said.

- This day brought good news - we are heading in to the right direction. It seems that we have sorted out the little problems that held us back.

Kovalainen said that now he can start the fine tuning of the car to find the ideal balance for a for the racer.

- Tomorrow we are doing more work to get up to full speed, but I think this was another good day for the entire team, he said.

Oh! it's just my very wild imagination
If I read the British TV broadcaster tweeting "Stay tuned folks. We're hearing some dramatic news about testing is about to be made public...", then I go and imagine something "dramatic" :p

@NobleF1: Revised Red Bull Racing car breaks cover. New wings, heavily revised exhaust layout (similar to Sauber).

The sidepods are even shorter than they look. They are extended with a bridge for the exhaust gasses but have a tunnel for the flow from the floor.

Steering problem for Lotus.

@Lotus_F1Team All calm in the @Lotus_F1Team garage. Kimi was not quite happy with the steering so we're investigating accordingly.
