Personally, I think the calendar should go in an order. Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, India, Japan, china, korea, Singapore, australia, Brazil lumped together to cut logistics and cost, then goto all of europe. I mean, its absolutly stupid going to china in april or may, then going all the way back to japan korea and singapore. Its traveling for the sake of it. They should go from one side of the globe to other, doing every race as they go along.

i agree. they keep crying about logistics and they continue doing these things.
weather shouldnt be a problem if these are shifted to start of season. Only perhaps Great Britain will be worrying but shouldnt be much of issue.
Similar for European countries, try to move from left to right as far as possible

Well, it looks like we'll have 20 races only (drop turkey from the calendar?)

Turkey most likely, or Bahrain if there's more unrest or the USA if it isn't built in time.

It's a pity, as Turkey is a very good circuit :(

I just read it and it's just typical BILD gossip. Their assumption is based on comments by Schumacher in which he states that it took 5 years for him to succeed with Ferrari and that it took Red Bull 5 years to succeed as well, hence "till 2014". I think it's highly unlikely.

but Schumacher was already a threat in Ferrari from earlier itself, not the case in Mercedes though, so i disagree with Michael

Calendar changes likely:

Australia starts, back to back with Malaysia
2 weeks, then China, 2 weeks then India
3 week gap before Europe for some testing at Mugello or another Euro venue
Bahrain moves to back-to-back with Abu Dhabi
Austin becomes penultimate race, before Brazil

Turkey dropped
