I listened to an interview with Horner and he does have a point. Ferrari and McLaren are manufacturer teams so they may have a lower budget, but there's overlap because of the road car department or other racing series department. At Red Bull it is just the F1 team.

But how much of a 458 goes into.the F2012? And what about the design tie ups with Infinity and the prototypes? Ferrari sell cars to go racing. redbul go racing to sell pop.

Surely, car racers are preparing their very own formula 1 car now to drive and race on this 3 day event. Every team plan their budgets to the event :O
great events this 2013 F1Deals

They basically have all the $$ they want; seeing as they already have 2 teams and even then would rather have fewer expense restrictions.

A 3 title in row would make it pretty near that boring Schumacher era that made so many people stop following.... At least this yr has been close.

Well, he essentially said nothing is signed. But that still doesn't shut the door.

Would be interesting though. Vettel at Ferrari with Alonso would be a super strong driver pair. And in general, Vettel is a very nice guy... 0 conflict. Considering Webber is not exactly a piece of cake...

I think he tackled the questions thrown at him after India very nicely. People bag him for having a super car courtesy of Newey, but most forget his last real mistake was probably Spa (when he hit Button) more than 2 yrs ago.

I say... No need to worry about 2014. We'll know about anything soon enough.

I wonder if this can make it to TV. I can't imagine having one tenth of the bandwidth needed to livestream it.

Anyone know which track it is. I don't recognise it.

EDIT: Found out it's a Norwegian track called Rudskogen

Just found this on Sutton Images' website - it's my car and where me and mates camped at Silverstone!

My Lens hood is about 10" long alone. I won't be going this year anyways, even though it's just a couple hundred miles away. :(

I never had an issue carrying in more camera gear than an acredited press photographer at Indianapolis Speedway. I usually carry 3 bodies, 5 lenses a 500mm f/4, 300mm f/2.8, 70-200 f/2.8, 24-70.f/2.8, and a 16-35 f/2.8, a monopod, several extenders a flash, batteries, and back then 75-125 rolls of film/day. Can't believe only cameras with small lenses will be let in. bummer for us photographers that have no chance of getting any press passes.

I think I read somewhere last week that they've had a lot of people saying the same and are relaxing the limit.
