A grudge against a poor driver? lol. Not really possible to be frank to have a grudge against him!

Oh please, a poor driver doesn't become World Champion. Face it! A poor driver always makes mistakes under pressure, in qualifying, with the setup... Petrov is a poor driver, he was nowhere compared to his teammate last year: Kubica. Kubica is a top driver as well

everyone has their own opinion on a bad driver and good driver.
in his day keke rosberg was a good driver.
I don't think schumi or alonso are great driver's and that's my opinion. I have my reasons for thinking that.
jenson has to be great driver to be a world champion.

I could name more like :- seb, lewis, ayrton, kimi.

I respect that. Although how you think schumi or alonso arent great drivers but jenson has to be one to be a world champions and the other two are multiple world champions is absolutly beyond me. But yeah, I respect your contradictive opinon there :zz:

In my opinion, you have great and very good drivers. 10/10 & 9/10. Alonso, Hamilton are 10/10. Vettel is at 9.5 for me. Button around a 9.

Every drivers world champions are very good drivers.

But Hamilton, Alonso and Schumacher ( before Mercedes lol ) are way beyond the rest. In not the best cars, they can do amazing thing! In the second part of 2008 Alonso was an alien, I believe he scores more points than everybody in the second part of the championship. Even his performance in the controversial Singapore was amazing. Hamilton in 2009, 2010 and in China/Spain this year shows that he is a true fighter, able to win with an inferior car. And Schumacher, since 94 was a championship contender in all his years except 2005.

That's my opinion of course :)

The rumours rumble on:
Lewis Hamilton, frustrated at driving an uncompetitive car for a third consecutive season, could be competing in his last British Grand Prix for McLaren next weekend.

The 26-year-old has a break clause in his £75million contract that allows him to leave McLaren in December — 12 months before the end of his five-year deal — unless he is world champion or the team win this season’s constructors’ championship.

Well Red Bull effectively just put an end to Hamilton moving to Red Bull; I don't think a move to Ferrari is on the cards either :)

According to Joe, Hamilton is not going RBR, Webber to Ferrari?

Maybe everyone missed it, but the news that Daniel Ricciardo was being shoved into HRT does not seem to have done anything to stop the stories about people replacing Mark Webber at Red Bull Racing next year. The British media is still flogging the dead horse of Lewis Hamilton moving to the team, although Red Bull Racing’s Christian Horner has tried to set them straight by saying that “you have to look at the reality, at how these things work, and history dictates that two world-class drivers in the same team has not always been the best pairing. You only have to think of Senna-Prost, Piquet-Mansell, or even Alonso and Hamilton”. This is pretty much the same as putting a stamp on your forehead and saying: “Hamilton is not coming here”. Horner continues to say that the team is pleased with the job that Mark Webber is doing and that the focus is on them to stay. If that is the case, there is little point in putting Ricciardo into HRT. As I explained in an earlier post, if Ricciardo was simply going to step in and replace one of the Scuderia Toro Rosso drivers, that would have happened. But both of them are still there and Ricciardo is at HRT, which has to suggest that Red Bull has other plans for him. For me, that means one thing. Daniel is going to be going to Red Bull Racing next year… in place of Mark Webber. That will keep down costs, keep Sebastian Vettel happy and give Ricciardo the time to develop into a threat to Vettel at about the sort of time Vettel will be thinking of moving on… And if Ricciardo does not develop along those lines, the cynical management at Red Bull will simply slot in Jean-Eric Vergne in his place. It is a move that is designed to keep all the necessary players hungry.

The only other way to read the situation is that Webber wants things that the team is not willing to give him (one might cynically suggest that equality would be a sticking point) and wish to drive home the point that Webber is better off accepting a deal in case they decide to put Ricciardo in his place. Negotiations in F1 being as they are, this might also explain the stories about Webber going to Ferrari, as this would be a counter-threat which Red Bull might wish to listen to, as Webber knows all about the team and his knowledge would probably be quite useful for the folks down in Maranello…

By the start of the 2012 season, Mark Webber will be 35. I can't see any postives about hiring a 35 year old. Ferrari have to take Perez and give him time to become a threat for Alonso.

Hamilton won't leave McLaren at the end of this year, if only because he won't be able to find a more competitive ride than the one he currently has.

Why would Hamilton care what the drinks company have to say, when hes been offered drives for life with Mclaren, a drive with Ferrari, and is on the wishlist of Mercedes.

Williams likely to keep drivers in 2012
Good news in my opinion, Maldonado shows promise and Rubens' experience are both valuable. Hope that their car is much, much better though next year.
