Some news tells that the deal includes also Embratel. So Qtel deal didn't happen.

This is great news. Next season is looking very promising, with the 6 world champions, the long-awaited Grosjean, Ferrari's hunger to get back on form, so as Lewis Hamilton's.... and Bruno Senna in a Williams added to the mix, just to create that extra touch of history and nostalgia!

I couldn't feel more sorry for Sutil. He does not deserve this.

He's not the only one left in the cold this season. Jaime Algersuari probably feels as bad, if not worse...

Williams has the worst driver lineup imo.

Any line-up with Maldonado in is not a strong one in my books.
But we'll see how Senna does.

Against Maldonado, this is Senna's chance to prove he's a genuinely good driver and not just living on the name. He needs to really tonk his team mate this time. Be interesting to see if he does.

F1: Second HRT driver to pay EUR 6 million
By Auto123.com,
Wednesday, January 18, 2012
From GMM
The eventual occupant of the second race seat at HRT - the final place on the 2012 grid - will bring "no less" than EUR 6 million to the table.
That is the claim of the Spanish sports daily Marca, reporting that Dutchman Giedo van der Garde is apparently on pole position to be Pedro de la Rosa's teammate at the struggling Spanish team.
The newspaper said Dutch GP2 driver van der Garde seems to have at least the requisite 6 million in sponsorship but acknowledged that "the list of candidates is long".
"I am still waiting for good news," 26-year-old van der Garde is quoted by De Telegraaf newspaper, "and I'm positive. I'm training hard to prepare myself as best as possible."
Some regard the growing influence of 'pay-drivers' as bad news for a premier sport such as formula one.
"Whatever happens," said Felipe Massa last week amid rumours he could lose his Ferrari seat, "at least I know I've never had to pay to drive."

2 - Gilette [Shaving blades]
3 - OGX [Oil company = Eike Batista]
4 - heads & Shoulders [Shampoo]
5 - MRV Engenharia [Construction]

Thanks Reppo.
The problem is that Marca gets things wrong about 95% of the times. It's impossible to know when they have something good an when not. Even when they interview somebody, it's impossible to know if they have forgotten to add part of the answers that make things look differently.
BTW, we already wrote last week that van der Grade is supposed to be on pole position to get the seat

He's also been quoted as saying
''If I do make the switch, it is important that I'll find a good team where I can learn a lot at first and then show what I can in the house to eventually make a step up. That's my goal. I'm not down to go to the Formula 1 racing in the rear.''

Right. He wants to be in a good team like HRT which is having an auction of the race seat
Maybe a test driver seat somewhere else would be better.
