i think he will go to mclaren, because mclaren always wanted british drivers! they have hamilton and i think button will replace alonso. i think alonso wants to change anyway!
I do not think that Ron Dennis LIkes him. Also, McLaren have just signed Alonso, and he will be there a couple of more years.

Button was doing very good when he was with Benetton (in 2001 I think)

The only way Button sign Macca is Alonso leaving the team, maybe Alonso doesn't approve the superprotection of Dennis on Hamilton.. and Lewis is a Ron Dennis boy. So...Jenson will stay at HONDA even that his will was to leave and sign to another 3 or 4 teams...at the same time!! :cheesy:

I doubt he'll go back to Renault because he doesn't like Flav much  think how smug Flav would be... Plus he wouldn't go to a car that is going backwards...

i think he getting outshown by his team mate which is doing better.... in melboune hamilton would og beaten alonso but got held up in traffic... but in malaysia alonso did well.... and in bahrain alonso really struggled and couldnt match his team mate all week.... in time wise hamilton was 0.5 faster in qualifing and in race time! but we will see in spain in alonso's home :)

I just think we're too used to Nando beating Fisico that having a teammate that can use the car he's been given is a surprise...

If Alonso's car hadn't had that handling problem in Bahrain all this speculation about him struggling wouldn't have been generated. I'm sure he'll be in front in Spain and the next races. I think the biggest equality between them will be at Silverstone :D

Over rated or over hated.

Post by athos » 28 Apr 2007, 19:48

Come on gentlemen.

Are we Formula One fans/experts or are we just gossipers.?

Fernando Alonso is not over rated, the only thing I can say about him that it is not obvious is that he is a very smart and hard worker.

Let us not hate the image that the media shows us of the man and let's focus on the goals every pilot is able to achieve according with his or her talent when driving in the conditions they have to.

Regards.

Athos
