Off-Topic: show

I really hope this isn't happening, it would really be a shame. I wouldn't understand it quite frankly, since they started broadcasting just two years ago. Now they find it to be too expensive? Not very foresighthed.

Tbh, on further thinking: it is the Guardian, which hates virtually everything; especially F1.

Well, you should know, I'm a non-UK resident, yet even I know that it's at least a reliable source, isn't it?

Its a proper newspaper, this isn't some rubbish tabloid that just gets readers by printing pictures of Cheryl Cole. And its a fairly left wing publication that backs the BBC when people moan about the BBC and the licence fee, I would think this is fairly reliable.

That said Bernie would never let them exit their contract early unless their was a massive offer, and I doubt massive offers are arriving from TV stations at the moment. It would cost more to leave the contract than to simply follow it. This may be the BBC trying to appear as if they're saving money but without actually doing so.
