Gregory Haines: There are rumours that Mika Salo said Kubica may be missing a thumb - have spoken to Mika on phone and he says that's not true at all. :zz:

Apparently Fisichella was in Lebanon yesterday :
Scuderia Ferrari development driver Giancarlo Fisichella has just completed a series of Philip Morris International events in the Middle East, aiming at bringing Formula 1 to a wider audience, specifically in areas with little previous motor sport involvement. The trip started in Eilat in Israel and then moved to Beirut in Lebanon, with Fisichella talking about his past experience as a Formula 1 driver and his current duties, racing in the GT championship at the wheel of a Ferrari 458 Italia.

Let's wait and see, the season will be over in about two months and Williams must make a decision up until then.

Bob Bell - Aldo Costa - Geoff Willis.

Now that is a move. Mercedes finally understood that they had to pour some money to the team if they want to succeed, thus make money. 2012 might be a transition but come 2013, Mercedes might be gunning for wins.

I'd like to see Michael with a top car against the Mclarens and Ferraris. I think we might see the first win of Mercedes next season, and perhaps 2013 will be a realistic chance for them to fight for the championship.

I don't think Schumacher will stay in F1 for 2 more seasons, so unfortunately he won't benefit from a "winning" car.
