it will be strange to finish the season in india but very exciting.
do you know if the japanese gp takes place? I know that the moto gp race is ikely not to go ahead due to the fear of nuclear radiation in japan.

There will be 2 DRS zones starting from the Canadian Grand Prix.

If there's 2 DRS-zones in Monza, that will be a party!

I wonder how much of an impact DRS can have at a high-speed circuit where everybody uses as little rear wing as possible already.

According to Adam Cooper, RBR uses a laser to stop the car in the right place
Re: 2011 Formula 1 Season - Official Discussion Thread

thats because once the laser detects the tyre (or car), then it automatically gets the car to stop. It works on same principal as the hand sanitizer preasent in restrooms.JoostLamers wrote:Why a laser?
Re: 2011 Formula 1 Season - Official Discussion Thread
If you watch the Malaysian race edit, you can see the lasers during one of the Red Bull stops. Its obviously working.
Re: 2011 Formula 1 Season - Official Discussion Thread
But I don't think it is allowed for the teams to directly control the car in any way. Remember all the fuss about the drivers having to operate the f duct manually last year.sdutt wrote:thats because once the laser detects the tyre (or car), then it automatically gets the car to stop. ''Three strikes' to make driver reprimands costly'

I think this is a good thing, because otherwise nothing is done with reprimands.
