Re-creation of classic corners won't work because they'll have acres of tarmac run-off. They just need gravel to make them classic :p

“This photo shows construction from the north-west towards the south-east of the track site. Looking good!”

Track layout can be seen here: http://www.formula1unitedstates.com/ima ... 1_usgp.jpg

It's incredibly exciting and we're getting loads of interest already - we have been since it was announced. As for the "dull" racing I don't think so... but we'll just have to wait until next November :zz:

As for the amount of interest generated amongst American spectators... It just means more tickets for my clients

And then there were two...

F1 will have a street circuit in New York from June 2013 for ten years. Layout looks good...

New Jersey will be good IMO. Check out http://www.esteemhospitality.co.uk/f1/f ... ory_id=179 - proposed track is at the bottom.

I'm hoping Alex Rossi will have a chance by 2013. He should do GP2 next season and is somehow connected to Team Lotus. Maybe he'll do the 2 races that year? Off the top of my head, Rossi is the only one who could stand a chance by 2013.

The layout looks promising, and if the race actually goes ahead I believe it could work if it gets the right exposure. If F1 continues their deal with SPEED/FOX in the US then they could possibly pay FOX to cross-promote the race extensively on TV (as FOX have been known to cross-promote).
