5.Mirrors
6.Airbox inlet
7.Airbox winglet is no longer present on R29
8.Radiators inlet

12.Rear suspension

14.Diffuser
15.Engine cover
16.Wheel rim shields are absent from all the 2010 cars

The R30 seems to be a highly developed version of the R29 , with totally new rear bodywork , totally new much larger diffuser , modified airbox zone and new nose cone . Apart from them , sidepods , mirrors , the undernose area and radiators inlets are resembling a lot to the R29 ones . Wings of course are also changed , with the rear one to adopt a new wavy philosophy with a large black colored Gurney tab and the front one to becoming tripled profiled with wavy additional second planes .Some details around the car body have also changed with the most striking of those to be the new enlarged front brake cooling ducts !

The nose cone tip is a bit taller and the nose pillars are redesigned , having now a U shape to let more air pass under the nose cone . The under nose side fences were also preserved to help manipulate air flow crossing the the under nose zone . The overall nose design is a little lower though , having a very smooth U raised section close to the cockpit and much larger front suspensions bellcrank covering bulges .

The launch spec front wing version of the R30 was brought directly from the early 2009 races but during the first Winter tests the wing has changed dramatically into a triple profiled one .

The mirrors mounting to the car body were altered from launch time , reverting to a semi-circular mounting element , instead of boxy , very similar to the one used on R29 .
