I try to get some tickets for 2010 as well. I'm not sure whether I should take Spa instead of Hockenheim :-/. The distance is almost the same.

I'd take Spa. Because there's such an amazing atmosphere there. I don't know if you'll sleep on the camping, but at hockenheim I think it'll be difficult to get some sleep :p

Yeah at the moment I'm prefering Spa as well. The atmosphere and of course this traditional circuit is much better than Hockenheim. :)

I heard from GPtours that the tickets for the fridays and saturdays only will be given 2 month until the GP, so that's why I can't get them yet. I think it will be saturday tickets for Spa. :D

I think Silverstone is too expensive, so I hope we can go to the Hungaroring.

There's a grandstand called 'Red Bull', would that be just for the Red Bull fans, or...?

Well, I'm pretty much all set for Monza and Montreal. I have tickets and a hotel in Milan for Monza and a hotel for Montreal and I'm just waiting for these tickets to become available. I've been to Montreal many times, but never to Monza. I would love some tips getting to and from the track in Italy. I understand it is a loooong walk. We have tickets in the first chicane.

If you are referring to me, I'm from the States...Chicago. We have been going to Montreal for probably 20 years. As far as Monza, we were going on a trip to Italy and figured why not base it around the Grand Prix. As far as the investment goes, its really not too bad. We stay at a flea bag hotel in Montreal and get the flight free using FF miles. Italy is going to be rather expensive though with the exchange rate. Our tickets ended up being almost $800 US for 2.

$800 for the 2 of you isn't that bad to be quite honest. Is that 1/2/3 days though?

Yes, that's for all three days. The tickets are on the inside of the first chicane.....I forget the Italian name. Middle grandstand IRC. Nice to know you can move around on Friday and Saturday. In Montreal you have to sit in your assigned seat all three days.

OMG! Those are the best places! We were there on the friday (when Hamilton waved for the first time :p ) Really fantastic seats; only they are about €400,- which is double our budget, so that's a big shame. But those are the best seats I've ever been on!

My father and I both dream of going to a Grand Prix - we're expat Brits living in the states so I guess I best bet is going to the Canadian GP but does anyone know any tricks to get tickets/hotels for Monaco - thats the dream one for us. (silverstone after that)
