Well, he didn't attended Ferrari days this year so
A crazy thought just crossed my mind, it's worth repeating anyway:
Maybe Michael is leaving/ ignoring Ferrari as a form of Anti-Alonso or Pro-Raikkonen protest?

No, probably Ferrari were just too much in Alonso fever

For me, really I don`t understand Ferrari anymore. They want so called Schumi-like figure and never approached Schumi for 2010.

'Schumacher signs with Mercedes'
22 December 2009
7-time World Champion Michael Schumacher has signed a Formula 1 contract with Mercedes-Benz and will be making his much-anticipated comeback to the sport next year, according to German media reports on Tuesday.
Although an F1 return for Schumacher has been rumoured for some time, Daimler - Mercedes' parent company - hinted last week that no confirmation for its second driver would arrive until the New Year. Nico Rosberg is already signed for the team carrying the same nationality, as the 2005 GP2 Champion makes the switch from Williams after spending his first four seasons with the Grove outfit.
Although Sabine Kehm, spokeswoman for Michael Schumacher, is still unable to make any comment regarding her driver's imminent future, German newspaper Bild reports that a 1-year Mercedes deal is in place which also presents the former Jordan, Benetton and Ferrari man with an option for extension, should the 2010 campaign prove successful.
At the end of last week, Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo explained that Schumacher, who in September signed a new 3-year deal to continue acting as advisor and representative of the team, has informed him that an F1 return with Mercedes is likely; further reports at the weekend suggested that the Brackley team is planning a secret GP2 test for the multiple winner in the Middle East.

Still not officially announced, though! Not that Bild is taking a huge risk there...

What if Mercedes just makes the press conference to clarify that Schumi won't come? The only source that stated Schumi is going to drive next season is "Bild-Zeitung". And normally that newspaper is fam
ous for wrong news. For example, in summer 2006 they wrote that Schumi would be staying in F1 for sure. But still, I also think that Bild says the truth for once, but I wouldn't be so sure about it.
