Looking forward to the winter testing. With all those new drivers and (probably) car liveries

You never know. They should give him a chance. He can perform very well.

It wouldn't be feasible to broadcast winter testing as:
1) It goes all day
2) Few broadcasters would want the footage, and
3) Transporting TV equipment is very expensive and not worth setting up just for testing.

Also you do get occasional footage of tests anyway.

Aren't Eurosport and some other TV stations giving a report every evening after they tested ?

But I think they use the least amount of cameras that they can and also use stock/ pre-existing footage.

Yeah, but the FIA want to know how to improve coverage...

I think F1 should have a winter series with the cars used in the previous year, say 1 60 minute race and 4 rounds, one in December, one in January and two in February. All in Europe to cut costs and have the races on Sunday before a full week of testing at the same track (say Jerez, Barcelona etc). But teams aren't allowed to use the race drivers from the previous season, so it would give new drivers the chance to sample F1 machinery without being in a proper F1 race. The problem then is it descends more into GP2 Asia than F1... And financial problems and mixing the previous year with the next year would make for confusion

I am really, really looking forward to see a Belgian driver in an F1 car again. Our last local driver to drive an F1 car was Bas Leinders back in 2004. Hopefully Baguette can become renault's 3rd driver

McLarens first picture of the 2010 car:
The Fifth driver: "Here's your first shot of a 2010 Formula 1 car! Our guys building up an MP4-25 chassis!!! Exclusively for you..."

"Didn't want to make it too easy for you guys - so we blurred the details a bit. But we'll be sure to post more pics over the winter!"

I thought only drivers that have competed in less than 3 f1 races are allowed?
