Lap count and test distance in these two days:

Ferrari - 226 laps (915.52 km)
MGP - 198 laps (802.09 km)
McLaren - 194 laps (785.89 km)
Renault - 188 laps (761.58 km)
Williams - 177 laps (717.02 km)
Sauber - 170 laps (688.67 km)
Torro Rosso- 125 laps (506.37 km)

Don't forget - BMW developed the car until the bitter end, so I suppose that might help Sauber a bit. Needless to say they're not going to be a top-team by any means, but I don't think they're completely trying to bluff.

Ah, it's going to be amazing every other sunday to watch those 3 fight with each other and also against Hamilton and Vettel.

Do we know if Massa did any long runs? Or were all his times set in short (light) stints?

Yeah, I think Sauber will be competing for some decent points at the start of the season providing the drivers are up to it (the lineup looks a bit flimsy, I'd be more confident with Heidfeld in there myself) but then they'll probably fade as Peter Sauber said the budget is small and they'll struggle to develop.

He did mostly long runs.

It's sensors.

A bit like an aircraft pitot tube.
They can measure the wind speed and direction and the car speed out of the flow of the disturbed air that the car is in or is generating.
