Re: 2010 Winter Testing
i agree with what Phil says, it is unfair on the rest of the people (they cannot do anything to stop their fellow fans from doing wrong, as usually those people will be aggressive). perhaps an ID should be issued to each person attending, and if any such infraction happens, those individuals need to be blacklisted and not be allowed for any FIA sanctioned events. it will take lot of effort, but i dont see any other solutionLiffonmelsmork wrote:It is extreme mate, but at the end of the day, it's racism, and we live in 2010. They've been warned about this before on more than one occasion. This minority must know they're putting their country's Grands Prix at risk but they feel so strongly about broadcasting their fascist opinions that they obviously don't care.phil1993 wrote:It's a bit extreme just to hinder the 200,000 or so people that will go to Barca & Vale this year because of the actions of a tiny minority.
You can't be racist towards just a single black person without being racist towards every black person on Earth. Policing it's easy. Look at that picture, they're on camera. What's more, they obviously want to be on camera. Blatantly, more could be done about it. I doubt we'll hear much about this from the F~0~M or FIA but it's beyond ridiculous.phil1993 wrote:I wholeheartedly agree that the racism against Lewis Hamilton in Spain needs to stop but policing it is very difficult

couple of possibilitiesalex1369 wrote:what is this on schumacher s car

1) instead of using a hand signal, he uses that to signal he is going to turn
2) some poor bird has its wing there
3) it is used to stop anyone from passing him
but seriously, there could be some sensor attached to it, to see howmuch air is being pushed sideways, cant think of anythjing else

Re: 2010 Winter Testing
Detail on Glocks crash: Roland Ratzenbergen died due to a broken front wing and in 1994 in a Simtek, and that car was designed by Nick Wirth. Now who do you think designed the Virgin car...

They wrote that Hamilton should be the number 2 in the team, because that's what they think he should have been when Alonso was in McLaren in 2007.
Racism is something completely different.
If they would have wrote "you are #2, you black monkey", then it would have been racism.
Don't make things bigger than they are and don't insult someone of being a racist so easily.
They don't like Hamilton, they wrote it.
It's not good, I agree, but it's not racism AT ALL.

Re: 2010 Winter Testing
Thanks for the uploaded footage, quick question for you.... is it possible to watch the testing live? is it broadcast, or is this released footage by F~0~M?

Re: 2010 Winter Testing
Have a look at the picture within the circle... depicting a monkey. There is no need for them to write it out because we can infer the racist statement from the picture. If they had left the picture out there would be nothing to the claims of racism, but the use of the cultural reference linking monkeys with people of an African descent is explicit.
