My gripe in the coverage at the moment is that during qually they show you the times of the drivers who are through instead of showing you the times of the drivers who are in the drop zone. So you have no idea if the person in 17th (or 11th for Q2) is 0.001s or 20s off getting through. The times of the people from 2nd to 9th are irrelevant.

It depends on the feed you're watching, I know the BBC takes the "4:3 safe feed" which has this issue (and I agree that second to ninth should be removed to make room for the times of those in the drop zone), whereas other broadcasters (such as One HD) take the "non-4:3 safe feed" which doesn't have this issue.

In the TV I like to say that I most watch the F1 race in the TV.Because in it we can see all the type of the moving and all the viewers in the ground.The main advantage of watching F1 race in the TV is the camera are moving all side of the ground and we can see all the type of brodcast with clarity and each and every corner.

If the BBC is really considering not to renew their contract, then they should first take a look at the figures. Just sayin'.

The race directing in Spain was appalling. They missed on-track action, cut to the pitlane even during battles, and at one point were just following the backmarkers. The Lap 3 replays are also frustrating, surely they can't hold out until Lap 5 or 6? I also was irritated towards the end when they kept cutting away from the lead battle, even as they were going through the likely overtaking spots.

BBC arent in charge of the race direction, so its not their blams. I was watching on speed tv and had the same problems

The race directing is done by F~0~M and the pictures are used by all broadcasters.
