Infact, I hope toyota pull out too. Nobody wants their engines. if renault are smart enough to not supply engines, then F1 would be in a mini crisis;

That way, there would only be Ferrari, McLaren and Cosworth engines. Alot of new teams said theyd prefere ferrari or McLaren engines.

So its another step to standardisation, and should be called the McRari championship, because thats what will happen.

Flavio and symonds will be banned and also Piquet. No one of them will be able to return to F1...

What if Carlos Ghosn just take care of Renault F1 Department ? he's been busy witht he Nissan and Renault cars developements more focus was on Nissan and when Fota-Fia war was going on he spoke ... now his team is in trouble , i guess Renault will be undamaged with the Piquet-Singapore 08 crash but Flavio and Symonds will be , their deny during the last weeks and now they leave suddenly tho last month Flavio said he will buy the Renault Team if they pull out of F1 ...

How'ever i don't see Toyota or Renault leaving F1 , at least from Engines sides , Honda left cause of Economic problems as we know but the truth is they left cause they failed 2 years after their success during 04-05 .. as Bernie said "Honda was good as an engine supplier" , Renault maybe they also made a mistake with their comeback to F1 and they got the green light to upgrade their engines so it would match Ferrari-Mercedes after the Freeze rule , now we see that it was upgraded but not as much as expected , Ferrari and Mercedes are still owning ...

BMW also left cause of Economic problems as they say and its once again same problem as Honda they were good for supplying engines why would they creat a team , well they had good days everyone had good days like Minardi , Tyrell and Arrows also Jordan and currently Red Bull and Force India , Ferrari and McLaren had bad days 2 but they didn't stop pushing ... what we are looking currently is a fail for F1 and FOTA , the manufacturers still want to have a Championship but they already signed the agreement ...

Real sad case, the sport has been bought into disrepute and Flavio and Pat, who have dedicated pretty much the last 20 years to Benetton/Renault have gone.

I hope you're happy Nelson and I never want to see him in F1 again

IMO: Renault have pretty much said they're guilty. Renault to pull out of F1 immediately, Alonso without a drive  and BMW to get the 13th slot next year.

Well, Symonds and Briatore are no longer with the INg Renault team. I think this is a clear sign that the team cheated.

Think of this. They are going the way Mclaren did it. Ron Dennis quits and team feels bad for making a mistake & FIA awards suspended sentence.
Renault are on the same line. They have probably kicked Flavio and Pat out. Now the team will plead that the guilty has been punished as necessary.
Renault cannot anything worse than few million dollars as fine. I am pretty sure they would stay around ....

FIA is probably on V for Vendetta with Mad Max leading the campaign. Ron & Max were always locking horns and Max finds a way to kick him out.
Flavio took up the as the FOTA's commercial giant and Max observed that as "Flavio wants to be the new Bernie !". All i see is Max going after
Flavio Briatore.

Well... Ron and Flav have gone this year...

Maybe Renault were offered a deal if Flav and Pat went... much like McLaren were with Ron leaving...

this is a good and bad news: -good because renault finally dont lie and BMW will be in F1 next year (renault will have an exclusion or will retire)
-bad because a lot of workers will lost their jobs

and piquet is very stupid : he says the true but now he will never redrive a good car on a good serie.

And FINALly, i am desesperate for MASSA WHO MUST HAVE WIN THE 2008 WORLD CHAMPION TITLE
Jean Todt, Ross Brawn, Rory Byrne, Michael Schumacher = DREAM TEAM

Mosley's getting rid of all his long time adversaries before leaving his post it seems :zz:

Symonds has been dirty since Benetton days so not really sad to see him leaving. Pretty sure that Alonso (he seems to be involved with lots of controversial things...) and the rest of the management would have known about this as well. Kind of like in spy saga where first only Coughlan was told to have known about anything and then - whoops, the whole management and many of the engineers of McLaren were involved.

Would be odd if Renault got any really severe penalty since there's been much worse crimes from higher ranking teams... then again FIA doesn't like to be consistent with these things.
