Long gaps? I only see two gaps more than two weeks so that's not a problem, and without those breaks the teams would be complaining. Surprised the season starts so early, not much time for testing. Its great scheduling for Valencia, the most boring race comes when the World Cup is on. Also I believe the British GP is the same day as the World Cup final, if England make the final the patriotism and jingoism will be crazy.

The season used to start quite early (March 5th/6th)
