Valencia 2009

Post by scermat » 22 Aug 2009, 23:18

Long time no speak!

am currently in Valencia for the GP... sitting at Grao G4 and certainly not disappointed. here are some pics from friday. we witnessed a huge crash on friday as well as hamiltons spin. it looked worse from there than on tv.

met loads of f1 guys today. Brawn, Kubica (as annoying as ever), Badoer, Raikko, Gino Rosati (the ferrari mascot guy) :P , Barichello, Button, Brawn, Haug, Heikki, Lewis, Niki Lauda, Klien, Grojesan, Briatore and Webber amongst others. Mr.Webber gets the coolest driver award from me though. he passed on some comments that cracked us up :shhh: will try post pics tomorrow. need to sleep now. early day tomorrow :)

well im not good at estimating distances but the closest point i reckon was about 20-30 meters. it was reasonably close. of course if you go at the closest poing you wont see anything but fencing in front of you.

great pics. I guess you had a wonderful week-end in valencia. the race, the track, the fans, everything there is awesome... but live, not on tv. I was so sad this this week-end.

Looks like you enjoyed yourself; the races are boring but its certainly not boring if you are there..
Anyways thanks for sharing the photos..

I can also add some pictures to this thread.

It was very enjoyeable being on the stand (G4) but too hot to spend from 9am to 5pm for 3 consecutive days.
