ignore reports on Sky/AP that Massa is in life threatening condition. He's stable after an op and will be okay. Long recuperation though

luckily there was a bit of run off on the inside of the corner and not a barrier

Zack, the Globo Esporte said who Massa is fine, but he's go pass the night on induced coma.

oh my god! i never knew it was that bad. i read he had a cut under his eye and that was it but yknow, that the Red Button for you.
poor guy :(
how did it happen? shouldnt the visor have been down on his helmet?

Rubens Barrichello's suspension broke and bits flew from his car and hit Massa's helmet, knocked him out (hence the smashed helmet) and he went head on (with both feet on throttle and brake) into the barrier

holy s***! well wtf is being done about the helmets then? they should be stronger!
so thats why Rubens didnt get into Q3 aswell then.

I'm now wondering whether he'll be fit for 2010...Da Matta took 2 years to come back...he has a kid coming in November
