F1technical is the ultimate technical site .It is well established but chaotic as well . On the contrary F1passionates is growing larger and larger and the TECHNICAL SECTION is divided into F1 technical analysis per season , aerodynamics-chassis and engine-gearbox boards to make topic searching much easier .

EUROPEAN GP , VALENCIA

Undergone changes from Hungary
1.A modified front wing was tested but not finally used in race
2.Revised front suspension because of the wheelbase reduction , only for Hamilton ‘s car
3.Exhaust outlets remained asymmetric but their size was significantly reduced offering less drag
4.Revised rear wing

CHASSIS USAGE - EUROPEAN GP

Hamilton used the chassis No 5 which was only used in Spain, so this was the second race for this chassis . Kovalainen used chassis No 3 .

KERS EVOLUTION - HUNGARY , EUROPEAN GP
Image

It seems that Mc Laren team has reduced their KERS weight for the (the generator, the electronic brains and the battery storage system) down to 25kg and have been running it since Hungary.
The very first KERS systems had these 3 parts at 100kg, Mclaren had tested last year a system that weighed in at 37kg and it's beleived to have been somewhere around that weight up until recently

REAR WING - EUROPEAN GP

Mc Laren used an old fashioned style rear wing in Valencia , already used during winter testing and last season also . The rear wing’s main profile is slightly raised in its central section while and the big slot in the middle of the front of the main plane was removed .This solution produces not only less downforce, but also much less drag compared to the previous configuration .
