Di Grassi to partner Glock at Virgin
Virgin Racing has confirmed that Lucas di Grassi is to race alongside Timo Glock at the team next year.

After what the team itself called 'the worst kept secret in F1', Virgin Racing unveiled its new logo and showed off its drivers in public at a launch in Notting Hill, London, on Tuesday.

Although Glock signed for the team several weeks ago, di Grassi only recently committed to the outfit - having tested for the Renault team in the recent run out for young drivers in Jerez.

Di Grassi arrives at the team after four seasons in GP2, and having gained experience of F1 through his role as a Renault test driver.

Agreed. But his chance on a drive next season is getting smaller and smaller. With Di Grassi been confirmed for Virgin, Kamui only has a chance at Mercedes, Renault, Campos, USF1 and Sauber. But Mercedes are likely to take a german and/or talented driver. So only 3 teams, where one's future is very uncertain. It'll be Campos, USF1 or Sauber

I'll doubt he'll get a drive in Campos. If he's going to get a drive anywhere, I'd go for Sauber, alongside Nick Heidfeld.

If he don't get a drive in Formula 1 this season, he'll be picked up as a test driver. Maybe at McLaren if De la Rosa leaves?

Stefan GP opens job vacancies
Image
Stefan GP, the new Serbian team that is trying to make its way to the 2010 Formula One grid is now hiring people. A new job page on their website calls for people who are willing to work in either Germany or Serbia.

The web page reads: "We are currently seeking a talented and energetic applicant's to work within our SGP Team for various Formula 1 Team positions."

"This will encompass all areas of the Formula 1 team, car, including conceptual design, analysis, development, materials technology and all forms of testing. Some international travel may also be a feature. You should be degree qualified, ideally with experience within a Motorsport environment and experience in Formula 1. Experience in CAE would also be advantageous. A strong personality and desire to win will ensure you fit well within this dynamic Team. Candidates will need to have demonstrated technical competence as well as a collaborative and proactive approach to their work. This role's requires an understanding of race car systems and team operation."

The team also has vacancies in marketing, hospitality and travel.

It is still questionable how the team will make it to the grid. The FIA has not mentioned anything about Stefan GP, while Toyota have also denied that it has sold its 2010 chassis.

 - Maybe they're thinking of 2011...

Campos in talks with De La Rosa, but they say it is more likely that Maldonado or Petrov will drive alongside Senna.
