Tata to sponsor Ferrari

I know there are a fair number of Indians here so:

The famous Italian Formula One team will add Tata, an Indian multinational, to its roster of backers in 2009, President Luca di Montezemolo told Italian media on Wednesday.

"For the first time an Indian brand will appear on the Ferrari," he said. "It's historic."

It's a bit odd to see this happen with Force India in the mix.

I thought no body has got the news but have.I saw today on CNN-IBN and from 2009 we will be seeing TATA on Ferrari Awsome man.I wonder even Reliance enter Formula 1 :oh:

Now one should wait for Narain Karthikeyan as a test pilot. But it is good that someone is willing to give money when others are leaving the sport

I think is surely going to help TATA ....with global economic crisis, cheaper car(NANO - Factory Price 100000INR ..2120 U.S. Dollar (USD) 1490 Euro (EUR) ) is way to go but how about promoting it thru one of costliest brand!?! ..in the end its Win-Win situation.

Btw ... In 2005, TCS(Tata Consultancy Services) logo was placed at lower end of sidepod(almost invisible) as technical partner and recently was awarded as Most Innovative Partner.
