Hi Guys,
It has been a hectic 5 races of the 2009 F1 Season, with Brawn GP Dominating all of them except the China race where RBR Dominated.Looking at the current form of Ferrari or McLaren it seems that they are facing the toughest season ever.So what do you guys think are these 2 topguns gonna win any of the balance races in 2009 & if yes who wil be the first to break the jinx with which driver or they will have a winless season? Lets have everyones opinion.

both teams can win this year......only on a small percentage though, maybe a 5 to 15 percent chance for a win. but who knows? the tables might turn and things may go the different direction.

I really hope both of the superior teams will evoke in the second half of season. Its quit boring now, when button-brown dominating the races. I miss to watch Mclaren n fer at the front runner.Yeah.. looking for the situation right now, obviously its favour brawn. perhaps, me as ferrari fans hope for some miracle. So i'm voting for kimi to win the first race to ferrari for this season.

Definitely one of the toughest seasons for Ferrari, but I'm not so sure about McLaren. At least their start hasn't been as disastrous as it was in 2004. Ferrari seems to be able to move up on the grid at the moment so they might have a chance to win a race or two later this season. If McLaren can't fix their problems, they'd have to try to win in more special tracks like Monaco or just in all kinds of special circumstances.

the main issue here is the in-season testing ban. we know ferrari tests a lot, they have their own private test track. mclaren are also quite keen on testing, like at jerez, or barcelona. these two teams suffered the most in the testing ban.

Yeah..agreed. Ferrari was suffer a lots from the ban of testing. They cannot test their upgrade prior the race weekend. No wonder, their car has an reliability issue. They only can sort out any problem occur after the races. So horrible i think.
Where Mclaren, didnt has much reliability issue (esp with lewis car), but they didnt bring a lots of upgrade to the car. But i think at Monaco, Mclaren will have a good pace, coz the track not too much demanding on the good car only, but also priority comes technically from the driver skills which hamy got it.
And also a good race from the winning car, brown. Perhaps, another win for button.

me too, i'm a bit bored of the whole Brawn thing now. i mean, don't get me wrong, they're obviously a really good team and i have nothing against Button or Rubens. but, as a Hamilton fan i would like to see him or Heikki win a race and McLaren get some more points. and, i cant believe i'm saying this (syafiqa wrote:I really hope both of the superior teams will evoke in the second half of season. Don't expect them to win before mid-season. But it won't be Heikki. Lewis at Silverstone maybe, or Massa at Turkey to get 4 in a row...

Look - Brawn and Red Bull are so far ahead that it is not possible to catch them based on the car - if Macca or Ferrari want to win they must rely on accidents, car failures, wet weather or lucky SC periods. Either way, I don't expect to see either McLaren or Ferrari with a number lower than '7' on it next year...

why? Its like last year saying that Toyota or Williams would win a race. They'd come close but would only win in strange circumstances - you can't bridge that gap between Brawn and McLaren or Brawn and Ferrari in the time they have left before other teams make upgrades as well.
