1. Ok, but there was money from Honda
2. Had no idea about that........As megasyxx said, Brawn is very experienced and talented guy, how on "earth" :p , did Honda leave, when they had those meetings trying to solve it, surely Brawn told them the car was good, so maybe the problem was the Honda engine......and now Brawn has great Mercedes engines and macca gearboxes etc.....
Still, i can`t feel they will be race winners, apart from Jordan in 1991 with a beautiful design, i`ve never seen a team coming from last to regular winners from one season to another, maybe it will be a 1st time.....

1. I agree with both of you, Brawn GP needs some sponsors quickly or after the 4th race we'll be seeing a deja-vu of Honda's last year departure.

2. As phil1993 said, Honda indeed have started developing their car much earlier then anybody else.
-The problem with last year's Honda car was the chassis, and NOT the engine! :)
-So given the speculations that Brawn GP's using also a beneficial illegal diffuser, we can't dismiss the fact the we may yet be really surprised by Brawn GP this year. :zz:

P.S. Anyhow, in Melbourne we'll see the real deal... Flag:##

So you do believe that Brawn will be a race winner ! With all the gadgets yhey received from Mclaren it will be very embaracing for Woking. If Mclaren is such a bad car, it will be a golden chance to Hamilton to show what he`s made of. We don`t need to wait to much now, i got tell ya, i wasn`t curious to see the 1st championship race in years. As always, nice chatting with you Mr. Horton

Who would have guessed this at Christmas when Button had finished 18th in the driver standings with just 3 points and no drive!

New system could give Button title shot

Formula 1's new points structure could help Jenson Button emerge as a serious threat for the world championship this year, reckons the sport's commercial boss Bernie Ecclestone.

With the FIA having announced that the world title will now be handed to the driver with the most wins, Ecclestone believes expected early season success for Brawn GP could put Button in contention to take the fight to the more favoured candidates.

When asked by autosport.com during a press conference hosted by Australian Grand Prix organisers about his predictions for the championship, Ecclestone said: "I suppose an awful lot will depend on these [new] regulations, but if Brawn has got it right, then there is a chance that for the first three races we could maybe see Jenson winning.

"Now that it is not points that decides the championship, if he has three races in his pocket then it is not bad - although I suppose in the end you have to look at the old timers like [Fernando] Alonso, Kimi [Raikkonen], Felipe [Massa] and Mr [Lewis] Hamilton."

Ecclestone believes that good results for Brawn GP early on, however, will not rest easy with rival teams - as he fears a potential protest about the legality of the diffuser on the BGP 001 being lodged at the season opener in Australia.

Gracias :p

I think now the order of 09 seems to be:

Brawn
Renault
Ferrari
McLaren
BMW (they've been quiet over the winter)
Toyota
Red Bull
Williams
Force India
Toro Rosso

Anyway, 10 and a half days left!!!
