I agree... But even McLaren tested 2010 spec tyres yesterday!
Indeed, the question is: why did Ferrari decide not to run at all? It would have been a good chance to gain experience on the behaviour of the new car on wet track...

limited no of kms in each season so ferrari might not have wanted to watse them on a rainy track or maybe save the engine power of a good day.

I believe that Bridgestone asked them to test the 2010 tyres .

I think Ferrari got quite a bit wet track testing in the earlier test sessions already. It's interesting to see how the teams can develop their cars when most of the tests have been so messed up with rain and sandstorms etc.

mclaren were last when using the 2009 spec rear wing, but moved up when they reverted back to the modified 2008 rear wing......are they really struggling for this year's full package or are they just playing possum? :(

I think there's only a limitation for the teams, I don't know how much.
For example: McLaren has 5,000 km testing km to complete. I think it doesn't matter if Hamilton does all 5,000km or Heikki and Lewis both do the half, or DLR and Paffett get involved, so each driver then can do 1,250km, or hamilton can do 2,500 and the other 3 drivers do the remaining 2,500.

So I think they don't limit the drivers, they limit the teams.
