Hello to all the members.

I had marked that both the ferraris running in the Chinese GP had different bodywork like the engine cover.Massa using the Shark Fin Engine Cover & Kimi using the regular one.Is it allowed under FIA rules to race using 2 different body works ?? Ur comments are most welcome. And if in the past if anybody has marked this then why dont we all bring it together how many times it had happened & when.Lets also count the past seasons !

i think it's okay - mclaren have done it before (2001), @ the british gp - coulthard's car used chimneys while mika's car didn't.

I believe in 2005, one Jordan tested a new chassis at Monza, while one didn't. I also believe this was the case at the Japanese Grand Prix that same year - Ralf tried the TF105B, while Trulli used the TF105. The 105B had lots of changes and no bargeboards.

In 2003, Schumacher raced with 2003 spec car while Rubens was in 2002 car in one race.
In 2007, Sutil raced with B-spec car in Spa while other driver didn't (who was it btw?).

Why would that be an issue ? Body works were homologated for the race...so if they wanted to use the 2008 Australian GP body style I am sure would have been ok. In the same breath, a few weeks ago, Kimi and Massa also used different brakes: Massa was on Brembos and Kimi was on Carbon Industrie (I believe in Singapore).
