Re: 2008/2009 Silly Season
Fisichella is expected to stay until next year at least. I heard a straight swap between Alonso and Heidfeld being mentioned somewhere.

I heard Conway from GP2 might a 2010 Honda seat if Alonso don't go there.
Re: 2008/2009 Silly Season
Current contracts:
Ferrari: Kimi Räikkönen (until the end of 2010), Felipe Massa (until the end of 2010).
McLaren: Lewis Hamilton (until the end of 2012), Heikki Kovalainen (until the end of 2009, not certain about additional years though)
BMW Sauber: Nick Heidfeld (until the end of 2009), Robert Kubica (until the end of 2010).
Renault: Fernando Alonso (until the end of 2009).
Williams: Nico Rosberg (until the end of 2009).
Red Bull: Mark Webber (until the end of 2009), Sebastian Vettel (until the end of 2010).
Toyota: Jarno Trulli (until the end of 2009), Timo Glock (until the end of 2009).
Honda: Jenson Button (until the end of 2009).
Force India: Giancarlo Fisichella (until the end of 2009), Adrian Sutil (until the end of 2009).
Toro Rosso: Sebastien Bourdais (until the end of 2009).
Alonso can reportedly leave Renault if the results are as bad as they are now. Honda has room for him, BMW doesn't. Heidfeld's contract is rumored to be quite too expensive for BMW to break. Some people suggest that Kubica would move to make room for Alonso, but that seems quite unlikely as Kubica is BMW's crown. Then there are some Spanish sources that still think that Alonso will go to Ferrari in 2009 or 2010 saying that Kimi's contract is only "optional". Sounds more like uttermost desperation to me.

it looks like Alonso will be staying at Renault! As the Formula One teams are getting their seats filled Fernando Alonso has yet to decided whether or not the Spaniard will continue to race for another season at Renault. Alonso is looking at his options but doesn't make it a major secret that there is a big chance he will stick with Renault for 2009. "I have to look for the best place to be next season," Alonso said. "Renault is my first option. I know the people and I know everything can go well here. Right now all the teams are very optimistic, but Renault has given me two winning cars and I think it is much easier to believe them (for being optimistic on 2009) than to believe the people at other F1 teams."

Re: 2008/2009 Silly Season
I was hoping for an engine change at Williams. Williams-Renault or Williams-Mercedes. The Toyota engine doesn´t seem to be good. It was a tendency, that Toyota suffered on tracks with high full throttle percentage.
I hope Toro Rosso keeps the Ferrari, it fits together.
Force India should take Toyota engines instead of Williams.
And Red Bull should look for Ferrari or Mercedes.
