Deserved World Champion?

I don't understand people are saying HAMILTON DIDN'T DESERVE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP etc etc etc.
Just because you don't like a driver doesn't mean he doesn't deserve a championship, after all surely the driver with the most points deserve it.
I didn't like the fact Raikkonen won last year, but nevertheless I thought he deserved it and was worthy beating Alonso and Hamilton.
I don't want this to be a debate about whether Hamilton deserved the championship but apart from situations where drivers run each other off the track ('94) how a champion can't be worthy.

I don't understand them either Of course he deserved it, and with normal Belgian Grand Prix result, he would have been Champion in China allready. He has beaten everyone this year, fair and square! Point.

Well I there're everytime drivers which "deserve" the title more than the one who in the end became world champion. I don't like Massa, but I don't like hamilton either... but in the end hamilton made the better season than massa...... hamilton had to suffer such a lot stupid penaltys , that wasn't funny at all ....

He's world champion now and I think for the moment that's ok ...i just see a career like jacques villeneuve made, so his sucess for this moment is ok ..
i don't think that he will made it to a 3 or more time world champion.. he does not have the right skillz for such a career.

Anyway, I find these remarks fairly hypocritical as it would be just the same the other way around. Besides, people have right to their opinion. You should not take it personally when somebody does not like your favorite driver.
