Juan Pablo Montoya
What's happened to him since he left F1 2 years ago??
Re: Juan Pablo Montoya
went to Miami, got fat again from McDonalds, raced a black car with a star on it round in circles in nascar, said f1 was always c**p, said he'd never return to F1, won a few races, kept languishing in the NASCAR midfield, got fatter, end of. don't really care to be honest.
Re: Juan Pablo Montoya
wow, that sounds very strange. BTW, is he still active as a race driver or does he wastes all his time at McDonalds now ?
Re: Juan Pablo Montoya
Yeah he's over here racing in the NASCAR series. He's only won I think two race's, one in the Busch Series (NASRCAR's GP2) and one actual NASCAR race. He's an average driver. He'll spend some time up front and then eventually finish mid field. Really hasn't contributed much to NASCAR.

Re: Juan Pablo Montoya
he doesn't seem to be a good NASCAR driver. last season he finished 20th in the final standings. I'm also surprised about the massive points a driver can get during a season

Re: Juan Pablo Montoya
Wonder why he bothered leaving F1 and joining Nascar, Montoya had it all in F1 And he threw it all away
Re: Juan Pablo Montoya
i know ifs don't count, but if he stayed 1 more year, its likely he would have won the wdc in 2007 (or come high up) denying us the wonderous talent of Mr. Hamilton

Re: Juan Pablo Montoya
I have seen Montoya race in Texas. He was way behind in NASCAR. I remember him from his indy championship days with Toyota before he moved to Williams F1. He was doing a great job then. Monotoya was unbeatable on non-oval tracks. But he always kept failing in the oval ones. Now with NASCAR where drafting behind a car is very important, he seems to have adopted an F1 overtaking approach. He is nowhere near to the leading driver when making a pass and tries to move on the inside... Problem is this is a oval circuit & he needs to cut across to the outer lane to claim the position and all he manages to do is to squeeze the car which he is trying to pass ultimately ending up their race on the walls !!

Re: Juan Pablo Montoya
The points in NASCAR are crazy. Points for leading a lap, points for just about anything. Getting a lap back cause your the front car of the cars a lap down when a caustion comes out. Its just stupid. Stop trying to make up for sorry ass drivers. Thats why i like F1 so much. if your not good and your teams not good then no points. Hell the last place finisher in a NASCAR race gets more points than the race winner in F1. Most drivers in NASCAR get more points in a season than most drivers in F1 get their entire career. I grew up watching this and yeah i have my drivers and yeah i watch some of the races and hell i'll even go to a few races but i follow F1 way more.Arrows_F1 wrote:he doesn't seem to be a good NASCAR driver. last season he finished 20th in the final standings. osweat: , yeah i remember that, poor cameraman. HUGE talent from this guy, but his head seemed to be at the moon sometimes........he could win a race or take pole in spectacular manner or he could crash on formation lap .Fergie1 wrote:You broke my f*cking head!
