The old Hockenheim was very very good but the "new" is very bad

I agree that the 'old' Hockenheim was better, but I really like the part in the stadium, it's lovely, just like the first corner. I really enjoy watching the Hockenheim race. But the old Hockenheim was just raw speed.

But surely raw speed is a great spectacle? I'd much rather the old circuit than the current bland Tilke-drome. The old Hockenheim you got good racing and often an unusual result due to retirements and the low downforce setup required. Currently the racing is ok but the whole event is just bland and dull.

And I think Old Hockenheim is better than Monza

Monza is legendary, when you walk underneath that banking: It gave me the creeps! It breaths history! You feel it all around! I still can't believe I saw that GP. Monza definately better then Old Hock, in my opinion :O

Hungary and Catalunya are the worst Euro tracks, but imo China has to be THE worst. A sequence of drawn- out, slow, tyre- destroying curves with a 1 km straight near the end? No thanks.

should have the old Hockenheim, that merges with the new track at the hairpin, creating a huge straight with a tight corner after it... like this

(black: track; red: new track)

Won't ever ever ever happen though :( I miss the days of late 90s early 00s with good tracks... and Indy

I say China is the worst circuit ever! The layout makes no sense, and every TV camera angle during the race looks horrible.

I like the layout of the new Hockenheim, but it strings the field out so quickly and makes for a boring race.

I've always liked Hungary. I'm a fan of tight technical tracks, but I also love tracks like Spa and Monza. Monaco is my favourite though, followed by Australia.
