Not if he keeps throwing it off the road.

You guys are too harsh. :p
Yes, he is erratic and loses focus under pressure, but there will be atleast a race where he will start from pole and get everything right. The car sure seems up to the job.
But a title contender he is not.

I'm not sure. To be honest I am rather on the "NO WAY" side of not sure. He is to agressive on the throttle coming out of the corner, which means he is probably going to find himself sideways quite a lot this year!

He made ONE, I repeat, ONE mistake this year. And he made a pole too. Why is everyone hating him now?

Image

Judging by the black smoke from the brakes it was hardly his fault (considering that the exact same kind of smoke could be seen in Kimi's Monza 2007 crash).

So yes, he'll definitely win races, but less than Kimi for sure.

Australia 08- Hit the wall at Turn 1
Malaysia 08- Spun out - you only need one mistake in a race to screw it up. 2006 or 07 doesnt matter anymore as there is now no TC.

He will definitely win some safely from pole, but I think that will be it as it was last season.

For a while I thought that was his mistake too. Until I noticed the black smoke coming out of his brakes. It's still up to you if he mistaked or not but something broke there before he got stuck in the gravel.

good point, maybe it wasn't his mistake as his pace had dropped off of Raikkonen and there appeared to be no problem from behind the steering wheel. Ferrari haven't yet said

Yeah, Massa is already 10 points behind Kovalainen, 11 behind Heidfeld and Raikkonen ad 14 behind Hamilton. He will have to do a tremendous job to be in with a chance

Look, there were 2 mistakes and they both seemed to be not-TC related.:

And nobody is hating him here, he seems to be a really nice guy, but his consistency is hurting him badly. He needs to learn to control himself and to know his limits a bit better. Like for instance today, he could have finished a solid 2nd place and got those very good 8 points. Kimi was clearly going away and he got frustrated trying to catch him when it was fairly obvious that wasn't going to happen. Then he made the mistake.:
You just don't win championships making mistakes like that. And it certainly isn't helping your team in the WCC either.
