I think there was a race at le mans in the 60's.A shortened version of the l mans track was used.

In 1967 the F1 French Grand Prix took place at the Bugatti Circuit, which shares nothing more than a very short stretch with the Circuit de la Sarthe.
Look at this map: the grey stroke represents the Bugatti Circuit.

Hence we can say Formula 1 has never been to the Circuit de la Sarthe! :thumbsup:

i'd go for laguna seca. the moto gp there this year was amazing.
