I was always a Mika fan, still a Mika fan but Kimi changed the sport for me ... I would say best Finnish driver for me is Kimi Raikkonen

I didn't watch the 1998 and 1999 seasons, but I've often read that McLarens were clearly the best cars then, so Häkkinen had a big advantage over Schumacher when he won his titles. Also in 2000, the McLaren must have been very good, if even Coulthard could win 3 races, so it was a season when Häkkinen could have won a title but he didn't, despite having one retirement less than Schumacher.

So the way I see it, Räikkonen was better than Häkkinen and proved his value in less competitive cars.

mika hakkinen..... and then the "iceman" kimi raikkonen took over. 1 wdc is a bit less for his caliber, he should have 2 at least - bar his bad luck during his mclaren tenure

Mika Hakkinen for me! He outqualified Senna on his first race for McLaren! He beats Schumacher in 98 with style and had an epic championship battle with him and Coulthard in 2000!
