Visiting a GP in 2008

Post by maltafan » 01 Feb 2008, 21:21

So, the 2008 season starts in about 6 weeks.

Has anyone planned to attend to a GP somewthere this year? if so which and why did you choose it?

I think I'm going to Hungary, and I chose it just because it's the only GP where me & my friends can have days off together. But I think it should be a nice place to go.

I'm very eager for it.

Any other member here planning to go to a GP?

Silverstone is a great place to go and watch a GP. It gives you a particular sensation that no other circuit gives you.

and i's not just F1. There's Red arrows display, Porches, GP2, Historic cars and all, so it should be interesting.

Get a ticket which enables you to go on different stands throughout the weekend. I had a Stowe ticket, and it was awsome. I also went on Copse, Luffield for practice and GP2 races and on the main grandstand for the historical race, just after the GP. From copse you can see the last teams' garages and you're just outside the pitlane exit so you can hear them cars starting.

Enjoy it all of you who are going to Silverstone.

I'm going to Melbourne with around a dozen friends !

This will only be my 3rd GP, and I'm really looking forward to it.

Not long to go now Flag:##
