It is not confirmed who used slicks and who didn't but from what I've read, it's certain that the McLaren of DLR, Piquet and the two Force India cars did.Waiting for some official confirmation of this.

So, McLaren seems to have the upper hand on this track. Funny how the ones who tried slicks weren't so fast, except maybe the Force India drivers as they reached 1.20 :

Ralf is quite obvious name as he needs a team. Seeing Fisichella testing as well just confirms what Briatore has been saying lately about new drivers in Renault for the next season.
yep, Fisico said he's very interested in a Seat at Force India

Also according to Autosport, all drivers in the top 10 used slicks except Massa and Hamilton.
But what's up with Michael's time then?

High fuel load or something? Honestly, I believe that McLaren and Ferrari could have gone like a second faster if they had wanted to, but they might not want to reveal their true pace to the others or something like that. As always, it's testing and you never know what they are doing.

Yeah, I agree. They could've been using different downforce levels, different fuel loads,
various aerodynamic pieces and who knows what more...

I for one don't understand why some people take the times from testing so seriously. Testing is just that and it doesn't really show you the real speed of a driver or a car.

Besides all the lap times are really close, the top 10 being within one second, and we all know that in a real race, that isn't the case.

7. Massa Ferrari (B) 1:20.000 45
8. Bourdais Toro Rosso-Ferrari (B) 1:20.033 87

Of couse Vettel's time looks nice but give him the grooved tyres and he's back where the Toro Rosso usually is.

Well well, next time we'll see the new cars on track, I guess!

It also has to be said that several drivers used slicks either with either the '08 or the '09 downforce levels, so the lap times at this test are quite irrelevant.

Autosport has more info on that:

The McLaren team on Wednesday successfully completed the first test of their new car, the MP4-23, at the Jerez circuit in Spain.

Test driver Pedro de la Rosa was the man in charge of putting the car through its paces early in the morning, before Heikki Kovalainen made his debut with a second MP4-23 chassis in the afternoon.

Kovalainen completed a total distance of 128km with a best time of 1:20.559.

De la Rosa covered 177km and posted a fastest laps of 1:19.655 near the end of the test. The Spaniard was also pleased with his day's work and with the new car's initial performance.

Briton Lewis Hamilton will make his debut at the wheel of the new car tomorrow, when he will join Kovalainen.
