Re: 2008 Winter & Mid-season testing (Results and Pictures)
I would say Honda should get sponsors so that they can maximize there funds and produce a race wining car.

It looks like Williams have only tested the 09 rear wing. The rest of the car looks pretty much like 08.
I think the new rear wing will look quite good in combination with all the other changes. It looks a bit silly, because it´s put on a 08 car.
Honda´s wheel caps look a bit second hand

Day 4 And latest day @ Jerez :
1 P. de la Rosa McLaren 01:18.992 90
2 N. Heidfeld BMW 01:19.250 98
3 L. Di Grassi Renault 01:19.280 102
4 S. Vettel Scuderia Toro Rosso 01:19.470 93
5 S. Buemi Red Bull 01:20.005 84
6 T. Glock Toyota 01:20.482 111
7 A. Wurz Honda 01:22.637 51
8 N. Rosberg Williams 01:22.876 102
I just would like to say that ... Red Bull have done an unfair comparison ... they made Sato drive the STR meanwhile buemi tried the Red Bull .. well maybe because they are sure of what they are doing :P , in the news of the test , Buemi is more likely to be signed to the Toro Rosso and the second driver might be Sato as the team boss have said they want an experienced driver to be alongside Sebastien ... more Sebastiens into the F1 World :P
Red Bull going similar to BMW , Honda and McLaren but with different wing types i guess it's working fine as we saw Buemi's time
More wings to the Toyota
BMW new tri-sections front wing
Nothing new @ Williams and so for the other teams ...

Every one is keeping eye on Jerez and just talking about Toro Rosso,Red Bull,Mclaren,Williams but what about Ferrari? Ferrari are doing more testing than this teams.Massa testing for coming race and Kimmi testing for new aerodynamics track.I think Ferrari will have edge towards Mclaren and far away from the rest of the field.BMW closer to Mclaren???

Why? Just testing more than the others doesn´t make Ferrari better. It depends on the quality of testing. Kimi and Massa don´t seem to be the best drivers in F1 when it comes to feedback for the engineers. If Michael would have done the testing, I would agree with you, but obviously he didn´t
McLaren will be very strong at Singapoore

Am I correct in thinking that only Honda have got the KERS system fully working? Mac ran it passively, while Williams ran it in "stage-one" according to young Sam Michael.
But I heard something about Honda having run theirs in its final stage.. Is this true?

No, I'm not calmer. Just more jaded.

Ferrari and Renault are the two teams who are dead set against it, but I'm sure they will use it. They just don't want to.blizzard wrote:Does Ferrari want to use KERS in 09 ?

Ah ok, thx for the info.
They should both use it next year, because otherwise they could have a big development deficit in 2010.
