Which race is the best to visit?
I want to make a trip at 2008 and visit a gp but i don't know which a choose!
Re: Which race is the best to visit?
hmm, being from Europe, you are spoilt for choice.
Spain is very accessible with entry to the pitlane on Thursday
Silverstone is great and you can see a big chunk of the track from your seat
Turkey is close to you and is a very interesting track with a lot of overtaking possibilities
Wherever you go, pay that little extra and go to a stand, not just general admission

hmm i never been either... is it really worth all the money? i mean i been to a lot of races that arent F1, been in pits with the stig racing an old mk1 escort been to almost every typ of race apart from F1 and its because im put off by the ticket prices and huge crowds... (also reason why i havent gone to moto gp yet too)
what do u think??
what do u think??

Yes, it's expensive but worth every penny.
My silverstone seat was worth 200 sterling for the whole weekend
The noise in there is enough to make you high!

Italy is a brilliant race to go to because of the fans and energy !grin! ...
Monte Carlo ain't so good, the race usually isn't as good as you want it to be and theres way too many people :@:2...
Silverstone is good, I like Silverstone and I've heard French is a good one... Spain is nice...

Re: Which race is the best to visit?
I been to spa 2 weeks a go. I was at pouhon, very nice corner. I had a good time but the downside was that there was beer cans everywhere, so i had to pick a clean place to sit. I havent been to other races yet but Spa is good.
Re: Which race is the best to visit?
I would recommend the Australian grand prix. Melbourne is a lovely city, the weather is usually good and the track is in town meaning that you don't have to waste hours getting there. The only downside is that it is usually the first race of the season and so doesn't have the excitement of Championship battles at the close of the season.
Re: Which race is the best to visit?
the first race has a different excitment, you dont know whos gonna be fast and all the new cars are out! i would reccomemnd melbourne too. you are so close to the cars coz its a road course. the best thing is that the whole city gets really into itpmalam wrote:I would recommend the Australian grand prix. Noooooo
Very expensive with little or no action normally. If it's Europe and you're on a budget, then Monza and Turkey are probably the best - go for a seat though and not general admission.
Per favore, avrei bisogno di cerotti
Re: Which race is the best to visit?
I think those who are real fans of F1, should get a seat when visiting races. Those on general admission might look at it as an outing rather than prescious time to enjoy music making machines.
