I think he just loathes the extra attention of the press and the 'celebrity' that comes with being a top F1 driver.

Off track though he does seem to be a really fun-loving and laid-back guy.

I'm from Finnish extraction and he is a perfect example of a Finn. By nature we are kind of shy and reserved, but once we get comfortable look out. I think the alcoholism rate in Finland is really high...of course what else would you do there. Practice being a Rally star I would guess. We also do not suffer fools gladly which is a trait that Mika was the best at exhibiting. I loved the look on his face when an interviewer asked him an obvious or stupid question. Like "why would you ask such stupid s***".

I think he is just a young guy, with lots of money, trying to have some fun with his friends. But he is also a F1 driver, so people will judge him all the time. Unfortunately, he will have to deal with both sides of his life as long as he remains a F1 driver.

I think what haunts many modern F1 drivers is the fact that originally Grand Prix Racing was a "Gentleman's" sport, much like horse racing. Only the rich playboys could afford to go racing. Plus, being a British based sport it was all prim and proper. Today's athletes in all matter of sport aren't going to toe corporate line like they did in the past. I think Kimi is great...especially as all as he wins.

u can see clearly that kimi is lovin it in ferrari...he often comments an says that ferrari are this or that better an stuff like that so he clearly enjoys ferrari an its passion for racing...plus he is an amazing driver...u see the way he handles the car its so smooth and with precision...its not that often u see him make a mistake or shud i say u never see him that often making a mistake so...he is pretty good only thing he has a bit of bad luck..thats all...he pushes the car to the edge and controls it beautifully
