Words of wisdom in Formula 1

Post by Silver Shadow » 28 Mar 2008, 04:03

I'm going to be putting up an article at the end of the season about interesting things that were said by F1 personalities throughout this season. I thought that if everyone contributes, it would be awesome, and I'll credit you guys in my article at the end. So, to start off:
we should put it in the mouth and not in the eye but things go wrong sometimes
Kimi Raikkonen talking about his champagne incident after winning in Sepang

Just put a funny or interesting quote by someone in F1, say who said it, and what they were talking about...

One of my favourites is:
"To finish first, yo have to finish first"

Guess who said it ?

Loose quote:

Martin Brundle: It sure looked like an engine blowup to me.
James Allen: Well they're claiming it was an electrical problem
Martin Brundle: Yeah, a piston through a wiring loom, maybe.

Good topic :p

Fernando Alonso (Renault) on Kimi Raikkonen
“He has the self confidence and he is obviously very quick, so he has put himself in a very strong position.”

With the rate that you guys are giving good quotes, it's gonna be difficult to make a nice and coherent article about this at the end of the season!

Excellent work guys! Keep the good quotes coming!

You guys are awesome! Keep it within the 2008 season, but if there's something that's absolutely legendary, go ahead and post it here, and don't forget to say what they were talking about and when they said this!
